In a letter to the IRS, the bipartisan group of lawmakers urged additional time for individuals and small businesses still struggling to recover from the storm’s devastation.

WASHINGTON, D.C. — Today, Congressman Tim Moore (NC-14) introduced H.R. 2240, the Improving Law Enforcement Officer Safety and Wellness Through Data Act, to strengthen protections for law enforcement officers by enhancing data collection on anti-police attacks and assessing mental health support for officers nationwide. The bill passed the U.S. House of Representatives last Congress with overwhelming support, 356–55.
