WASHINGTON, D.C. — Today, the House passed Congressman Tim Moore’s Bipartisan Improving Law Enforcement Officer Safety and Wellness Through Data Act (H.R. 2240) on a bipartisan vote of 403-11. This legislation aims to strengthen protections for law enforcement officers by enhancing data collection on anti-police attacks and expanding access to mental health support for officers nationwide. H.R. 2240 is the first piece of legislation introduced by Rep. Moore to pass the U.S. House.
